My first half hour or so playing Hero Core - this game is brilliant!

Almost everything is spot on - varied and challenging enemies, an absorbing world design, upgradable weapons and metroid style ability/progress mechanics. I’m amazed that the monochrome graphics are able to convey so much, and that such a simple looking game contains so much complexity.
